Juggling, stilts, and even the trapeze are all on the menu at this brilliantly entertaining circus school event. Our tutors, Gregory Bartlett and Nathalie Pudimat, warm us up with a little juggling before starting slow then moving ever upwards in terms of complexity and challenge. Always encouraging, Bartlett and Pudimat draw the best out of all of us, with Bartlett in particular having a knack for teaching difficult skills simply. By the end of the day, we may not be flying through the air with the greatest of ease, but we’re all grinning like idiots, even those of us who lacked confidence at the start. Fun, varied and bloody knackering, this is a fabulous way to spend a day.
Bonaly Outdoor Centre, 21 – 29 Aug, 10.30am (3.30pm), £30.00 – £35.00, fpp20.
