Iain Sterling And Sean McLoughlin (Foolhardy Comedy)
By Julian Benson | Published on Wednesday 31 August 2011
These two abysmal comedians have no control of the room or their own material. Sean McLoughlin’s set is met with deathly silence; his questions go largely unanswered and his jokes are not laughed at, while his interaction with the audience makes the room chilly. “Dunno” was the answer he got to every question from one girl, and rather than move on, he stuck with it, clearly lacking the wit or material to make something of it. Iain Sterling’s performance was poor, since he had nothing new to say nor any new ways of saying it. The pair annoyingly derailed each other’s sets, Sean shouting from the back to put Iain off, which showed a huge disregard for the people who had paid to see them.
