Imagine a very small, very hot room – a room that is used as a club cloakroom for the rest of the year. If the very hot, very small room hasn’t put you off, then the first 15 minutes of “Who here is from Scotland?” and “Are you two a couple?” will. Introduced by a likeable, if manic, MC, three mediocre comedians fill the hour-long slot. The first act uses audience interaction as a crutch, while the second only talks about “taboo” topics in a very smug manner. A final comedian emerges only to ask, once again, of the two people in the front row: “Are you two a couple?” A dreadfully disappointing hour of comedy on the whole.
