ED2012 Comedy Review: The Magical Adventures of Pete Heat (Pete Hathway)

ED2012 4/5 Reviews

I hate a ‘he’s like this but does this’ comparison but this one is too obvious not to notice. Pete is like Noel Fielding doing magic, and he does it well. From tricks that are completely mind-boggling to those that are just absurd, the show rides in the crazy lane driven by a weasel. This show is perfect for families with older kids, though Pete could do with some work on his between tricks banter and would benefit by not commenting on his performance and the smaller audience in on the day. Apart from that, he keeps the audience captivated and confused for the whole time and that is a skill that everyone should be jealous of.

Gilded Balloon at Third Door, 1-27 Aug, 5.45pm.
