ED2012 Theatre Review: Planet Lem (Teatra Biuro Podrozy)

ED2012 5/5 Reviews ED2012 Theatre Reviews

Now, I’m not a big science fiction fan, but this show is mind-blowing! The costumes and set alone are incredible; couple that with an engaging storyline, an outstanding performance as well as a message for humankind and the result is ‘Planet Lem’. Inspired by Stanislaw Lem’s fiction this show is reminiscent of the work of H.G Wells, ‘Star Wars’, ‘War of the Worlds’ and ‘The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy’ – it packs a lot in. Set in the beautiful grounds of the Old College Quad, this is not just a performance, it is a sensory experience and by the end of it, you feel as though you have been to Plant Lem and back with the cast. Please go and see for yourselves.

Old College Quad, 16-26 Aug, 9.00pm
