ED2012 3/5 Reviews ED2012 Theatre Reviews
SOS Courtship (American High School Theatre Festival)

This play is a surprising little show following a group of misfit singles at a dating seminar, who are in search of love. Despite starting off slowly, and with the occasional missed cue, AHSTF’s performance was enjoyable and funny, as the mistakes didn’t especially distract from the performance and the plot was easy to follow. Performed by a group of young Canadian actors, it featured moments of brilliance from a few of its stars, including the lead, and for those seeking theatrical enjoyment it was definitely fun to watch. This wacky and sarcastic show will leave you laughing, especially with its final twist as the Captain’s true motives come clear.
Church Hill Theatre, 1-20 Aug, times vary.
