Dusty Limits – Psycho (Dusty Limits / Laughing Horse Free Festival)

By | Published on Saturday 3 August 2013

Dusty Limits dives into the depths of the DSM in this year’s performance, adding psychopathy to the gloomy list of topics covered over his years at the Fringe. Once again in collaboration with accompanist Michael Rouslon, Dusty presents a fabulously slick and confident performance in a series gloriously uncensored songs and ruminations. Unabashedly eloquent and at times viscerally personal, he explores what it means to be ‘Psycho’, or for that matter, ‘normal’. For the most part, the songs are well written and very funny, though a couple do fall a little flat. This, however, along with a certain lack of flow is amply made up for by Dusty’s disconcertingly clever wit and a devilishly refined stage presence.

Laughing Horse @ The Counting House, until 13 Aug, 10.15pm.
