The Hill And Weedon Fan Club (Hill And Weedon)
By Alix White | Published on Tuesday 20 August 2013
Unapologetically silly, this is the ultimate in guilty pleasure comedy, an immature yet hysterical collection of musical parodies and kooky, quirky sketches. Self-proclaimed ‘weirdo’, Robin Hill, adopts various animal personas throughout the show – if you are after a pretty impressive dinosaur impression then look no further! Be prepared for levels of wackiness us mere mortals have never before been exposed to, but also something more: Theo Weedon has genuine musical ability and his voice and guitar skills add credibility to this comedy performance. If you are a fan of The Lonely Island or The Midnight Beast then you will absolutely love this. A bit of a shaky start, but once the audience entered Hill And Weedon’s wonderful world of obscure thoughts there was unbridled laughter and applause all round.
Laughing Horse @ The Free Sisters, until 14 Aug, 3.30pm.
