At the Brighton Festival we present ThreeWeeks Editors' Awards as part of the other two main awards programmes at the Festival - Latest 7's Festival Stars and the Argus Angels. Here is a round up of the 2007 winners of our awards, and the Latest 7 and Argus awards.

LATEST 7 FESTIVAL & FRINGE AWARDS
Once again the Brighton Festival reached its climax on the Bank Holiday Monday with the Latest 7 Festival & Fringe Awards, which this year took place at the Udderbelly, with Jimmy Carr on hosting duties. As well as submitting their votes for all the 17 categories in the awards, the ThreeWeeks Editors also got to make their very own award, the ThreeWeeks Editors' Award, which we present to the show, people, venue or concept that we feel really added to something to this year's festival.

There were three nominees. Firstly the team from White Room Theatre for their Bite-size programme of short plays; second the GSOH comedy team for bringing some of our favourite comedians to the Marlborough Theatre as part of the Brighton Fringe, and finally the overall winners, Jane Bom-Bane & Nick Pynn, for the brilliant music programme they staged especially for the Fringe at the wonderful Bom-Bane's Cafe. Well done to all the nominees, and the winners, you're all great.

THE ARGUS ANGELS
As we mentioned at several points during the festival, The Argus staged their own festival awards for the first time this year - The Argus Angels - presented to stand out shows throughout the three weeks of the festival. Again the ThreeWeeks team fed in tips to the Argus Angels judges throughout, and again the ThreeWeeks editors got to select one winner in particular.

We awarded our own Angel to Stella Kassimati and Madeleine Grove for their show 'Psyche And Eros, The Archetypal Love Story', which really really impressed our reviewer, who gave it a straight 5/5 and said it deserved special mention for it's "incredibly skilled and engaging storytelling", adding that "Initially, I doubted whether they would be able to sustain the audience's attention for two hours, but they more than proved me wrong. It was simply excellent!".

So, well done to Stella and Madeline, who were presented their Angel by ThreeWeeks editor Caro Moses over the rather damp last weekend of the festival.

And well done to all the Angel winning shows, which were as follows:
